Hydrogen is colorless, oderless, nonmetallic, and tasteless. It is a highly flammable diatomic gas. Elemental hyroden is relativiley rare on the Earth and is mostly used captively.
Hydrogen has a single proton and no neutrons and
can take on a positive or negative charge. It is in most organic compounds

Applications/Uses:

Industrially produced from hydrocarbons such as methane. Hydrogen can be produced from water using the process ot electrolysis.
most common naturally occuring isotype of hydrogen, is known as protium.

History:

Henry Cavendish was the first to recognize hydrogen gas as a descrete substance.

Hydrogen is the most abundant of the chemical elements
Roughly 75% of the unverse's elemental mass is composed of hydrogen.
