Is explaining a phenomenon by saying "because God made it that way" a good explanation in science. Why or why not?
Well it is true that God made everything so if there is a strange and deformed phenomenon, maybe God wanted it to be that way. One thing is that it was born or like that, and another thing is that man made it the way it is.
I think no because I dont think God made everything. Humans did. Mankind and Human beings invented everything God was there to back us up. There is so much in science that could change and be new.
In my opinion, since I am a Christain, saying that God made it that way is a good explanation when it comes to life and coming up with your own personal beliefs. However, when it comes to science, I think a more in depth explanation is appropriate.
In a way yes! But that wouldn't be a good way to answer a question in science. Because scientist always come up with new conclusions to everything, they research, and study. A good scientist wouldn't just say ''because God made it that way".
The answer to this question is yes and no. There are things in this world that we can explain like photosynthesis and are physiology. However, things that are beyond our knowing can not be explained and even though scientists do not like God is an answer and can be used as a logical answer to describe phenomenons such as the creation of the earth, life after death, and the enevidable end that will come to the human race.
no thats not a good explanation because thare should all ways be a Reasonable Explanation on how it was made not WHO made it. what if the Scientics didnt explore some elements Because God made it that way……. If no one studyed the Elements we would not have some iteams that we have to day.
As a Christian, I believe that the answer "because God made it that way" is right in general. However, for science it probably is better to offer actual explanations. If answers were always that simple, "because God made it that way" would be the answer to everything, and that would cause many people to stop listening to Christians altogether. God gave us minds so that we can think and figure things out for ourselves, if he hadn't wanted us to research and discuss our own ideas he would have made us all animals.
No, by saying "God made it that way," is not a good explanation in science because even though God did make every thing, it is our responsibility to figure out how things work… for example If we didn't know that oxygen was flammable than people would be seriously injured…
Yes, if we would be just having a conversation about our personal beliefs but since we are in science class right now then no it's not a good explanation in science. It's the truth no matter where you take it or where you are but your reasoning must go in depth. We would need to explain ourselves in more depth.
